Today was church day! We sang worship songs to God, and learned about submitting to His Will!
My favorite part of today was the ministry meeting! Every 2 weeks, the ministries in Montrouis get together to fellowship. This is the second meeting we have attended, and I enjoy seeing what other organizations are doing for Haiti. Each meeting, we sing worship songs, and someone gives a message. Today the message was from Isaiah 64 which speaks about doing things for the world or allowing God to be the Potter and I the clay! We don't know how long we will be on the earth...we are not promised tomorrow, so we need to live for JESUS each day! We should not do things so that others will praise us, but so that JESUS gets the GLORY! It was so neat to hear the testimonials from some of the missionaries because they were sharing that sometimes the praise and adoration they receive from people back home can be a slight distraction from God getting total Glory! Who doesn't like to be praised, and who hasn't fallen guilty to letting the praise of others get to us! And for a slight second, we do forget to give God complete praise. However, He is quick to remind us that it was His work in us that allowed us to accomplish anything in the first place! What an awesome God we serve! I am so thankful for His work in me! I am grateful He has a plan for my life, and for each of you as well! Continue to seek Him first, and He will reveal His plan to you!
Blessings and Love!
