I am so excited to tell you what God is doing in my life! In January, I began to feel God calling me to serve Him over the summer. I had no idea where He was leading me, but I knew I could no longer sit still. I am so thrilled to share with you all that I will be going to Haiti for eight weeks of the summer!!! J
I will be working with an organization, Empowering Haitian Moms. Their goal is to help Haitian women become the moms God has called them to be, to gain value and self-respect of themselves, and to realize their full potential with the help of Jesus Christ. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I will be traveling with the founder of the organization, Stacie Rider, to minister to the moms as well as the children. We will also be feeding the children, teaching Bible lessons, English lessons, and loving on these women and children a lot! J
The total cost of my trip is $3000, and this includes my food, lodging, and ministry activity fees for the duration of my stay. Would you please pray about helping? If at this time you do not feel God leading you to support me financially, then please be praying for my trip. All contributions are tax deductible; this letter can be used as documentation for tax purposes. We know that prayer changes things! Please pray for these women and children who I will be ministering to in Montrouis, Haiti. Pray for my safe travels and that God will use me in bigger ways than I could ever imagine or think.
